On a warm summer evening, under a full moon, a team of seven caught 57 waders.
The catch comprised
- 30 Redshank
- 10 Dunlin
- 6 Grey Plover
- 5 Black-tailed Godwit
- 3 Bar-tailed Godwit
- 2 Whimbrel
- 1 Curlew
Most of the birds were adult in moult. We were pleased to colour ring 5 Black-tailed Godwit and 11 Redshank.
